How to troubleshoot missing Microsoft Store in Windows 10.

The Microsoft store could be missing after an update or if its application packages has been deleted. As per our research here are some recommended steps that you can do to be able to restore the Microsoft Store.

Method 1: Reset the Microsoft Store.

> Open Windows Settings, you can do this by going to "start menu" and search "settings"

> Once the settings is open, click on "Apps"
> once you are in the apps, go to  "apps and features" and look for "Microsoft Store" using the search bar provided, and when you see it, you can click it and hit "advanced options"
> once you click the Advanced options, you will see the following options for resetting the store.
> once a tick appeared beside the reset button, it means that the reset is done, you can try to launch the Microsoft Store again.

Method 2: If resetting does not work, its important that you also make sure that your Windows is up to date since the Microsoft Store and other  Windows built in applications might require a patch. You can do this by going to Windows Settings > Click Update and Security and Install the pending updates that you see there.

Method 3: if you are comfortable using the Powershell, you can reinstall the store application package using it.

> Go to Start menu and search for Windows Powershell, do a right click and hit"Run as Admin".

Once its open, paste the command on PSC:\Windows\system32> and hit enter:

Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

It will do the job on its own and once its done, restart the computer and the Microsoft Store should be back already.
